Kickoff Meeting of the MSCA doctoral network INITIATE
The Kickoff Meeting of the INITIATE-DN doctoral network took place on October 31st 2024 at the University of Bergen.
The team went over the main organization topics, the PI’s presented the individual 13 PhD projects and discussed the synergy between these projects. The doctoral candidates projects cover (1) short-term geohazards including landslides and debris flows and (2) the prediction of erosion and accumulation patterns, sedimentary basin stratigraphic architecture and associated fluid flow) for rift and orogen settings at intermediate- and long-time scales (1-100 Myrs). The next step in the first training in Bergen in March 2025 that will provide the doctoral candidates with training in entrepreneurship and 3D subsurface data interpretation.
