The Castaing center celebrates its 10 years anniversary!

Friday, November 29, 2024, the Casting Microcharacterization Center celebrates its 10th anniversary. Created on January 1, 2014 under the impetus of seven Toulouse laboratories (CEMES, CIRIMAT, GET, LAAS, LAPLACE, LCC, LPCNO), the center has established itself as an essential platform for electron microscopy and associated techniques.

During this significant event, many personalities gathered in the premises of the Castaing Microcharacterization Center at the Espace Clément Ader. The interventions of certain supervisory authorities and financiers, the visit of the facilities, as well as two historical and scientific conferences devoted to electron and ion microscopies punctuated this half-day. A friendly moment around a drink of friendship made it possible to thank the users, partners and contributors who participated in the development of this unique infrastructure.
