A CNRS research project receives the participatory research award !
On June 27, 2024, AirGéo, a participatory research project on air pollution in Senegal supported by the CNRS, received the “Co-construction” prize during the third national participatory research awards ceremony.
“Thanks to this joint initiative, we have a very concrete example to illustrate this path in which the CNRS has always been engaged and which we continually reaffirm: research in the service of society.” It is with these words that Antoine Petit, President and CEO of the CNRS, congratulated Yann Tastevin and Mélina Macouin, respectively in charge and director of research, on Thursday June 27, 2024 at the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. at the CNRS. That evening, the two scientists won the “Co-construction” prize at the third national participatory research awards ceremony, a ceremony organized by INRAE, for their “AirGéo” project.
