The Scientific Council

The Scientific Council has the following missions: 1) scientific mapping, 2) definition of transversal axes, 3) scientific animation, 4) organization of the scientific foresight, and 5) visibility of the laboratory with our institutional partners.

The Management Committee

The Management Committee is the executive body of the unit on all questions related to the current framework of the laboratory, whether scientific, technical, budgetary, or HR.

It is composed of the management team (DU, DUA, DT, SG).


The Scientific Steering Committee

The Scientific Steering Committee deals with any questions relating to the scientific activity and the functioning of the research teams. It is an operational body that reinforces and eases the circulation of information, both bottom-up and top-down, between the management committee and the research teams.

It is composed of the management committee, the team leaders, the president of the Scientific Council, and the head of the Geosciences discipline of the Faculty of Science and Engineering to reinforce the links between training and research.


Policy officers and Correspondents

The policy officers carry out actions mandated by all committees, or any of the laboratory staff, while the correspondents are also responsible for relations with the Midi-Pyrénées Observatory and GET’s institutional partners.
