MSHS-T thesis prize: congratulations to Louise de Palaminy!

The International Scientific Council of the Maison des Sciences Humaines et Sociales de Toulouse (MSHS-T) has awarded its 2025 Interdisciplinary Thesis Prize jointly to Louise de Palaminy (PhD in Archaeometry) and Luigi Storto (PhD in Cinema).

Louise de Palaminy, currently a research assistant at CEZA, completed her doctoral thesis between the GET (UT) and TRACES (UT2J) laboratories, under the joint supervision of Frank Poitrasson and Sandrine Baron. She worked on characterizing the provenance of ancient gold using isotopic measurements of lead, iron, and copper by wet and in situ methods.

The 2025 thesis award ceremony will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the Maison de la Recherche at the University of Toulouse – Jean Jaurès.
