Forensic Anthropology: the analysis of humans remains for medicolegal and humanitarian contexts or something like this

20 février 2023 @ 14h00 15h00 CET

Séminaire de Nicholas Marquez-Grant

Abstract: Forensic anthropology has become essential in the search and identification of human remains from a variety of medicolegal and humanitarian contexts including homicides, missing persons investigations, mass disasters and human rights investigations. This talk will provide an overview of what forensic anthropology is and their role in forensic casework today. In particular, it will cover the information that can be obtained from the skeleton to assist in the identification of the deceased and establishing the manner and cause of death.
